Mark Mobius: FranklinTempleton EM mgr

Runs several EM funds in the US. Written a couple of books on EM that I have on my reading list.
Has anyone ever heard of this guy or the funds that he manages?

Mobius is a big name in EM. Came up with Templeton. Don't know about his performance in the last few years.
Still, he is a carbon based life form and not nearly as fungible as an algorithm.

Barron's has an article on em and mobius periodically. Quite smart might even be worth the management fee. I guess if you have to go with active management you could do worse. I would like to see a fund that did index based allocation within country markets but didn't necessarily weight countries according to market capitalization. (DFA may do something like this.)

The guy is 66/67. Read that in the annual report last night..

Some one-sided questions:
If Mobius had a big bond issue but sold the interest coupons separately, would the remaining part be a Möbius Strip?
Is a Möbius Strip without interest? Can you get the edge when there is only one?
