To my untrained eye, it appears there is still some definite correlation in your graph to high PE10 and low returns, but the definition of high, has maybe shifted from 20 to 25?
I can't remember how you figure the PE10. I tried looking at Gummy's site, but didn't spot anything... ?

I self insure my wife and kids through Kaiser Permanente HMO. It is about $405 per month for wife and 2 young kids. (It was $380 until the wife hit the big 40). We are very happy with our coverage. (My wife did work for Kaiser at one time, so we probably know the system better than average) Coverage...

I had to read Bogle's Common Sense and Bernstein's Four Pillars to understand where a lot of the thinking was going. Thanks, I read Bogle's a while back, just finished Four Pillars and also found Malkiels Random Walk really helpful at keeping up. But now I have to get back to C# Unleashed and ASP.N...

Hey casey, Well sadly my posts can sometimes be more than 3 paragraphs as a flesh out my thinking. I was being a little sarcastic, I do read the longer ones sometimes, if there is something interesting in the first paragraph.... The reason I am so picky is probably because it takes me three ...

Petey, I have found a wonderful advantage of these insane posts (my simple rule is to ignore anything over 2 paragraphs. These posts are usually just arguing about junk). they allow me to spend more time at work working. Hopefully I will become more knowledgeable in my field and make significantly m...

Thanks, this was invaluable in realizing some of my funds that are listed as blends obviously have more Value than I realized and some of my funds that are listed as Small or Mid Cap are larger Cap than I thought. I plan on selling a little of my Large Cap Value (Vanguard Windsor) and moving into my...

Thanks raddr I just read Damodaran's book Investment Philosophies and found it very interesting (possibly a bit elementary for some around here, but not me. he also has a book on investment valuation.) But anyway he has a significant number of Investment Datasets linked on his site. http://pages.ste...

Raddr, I keep messing up the quote, but .... What about other asset classes? Many of these did not participate in the bubble we've recently had. Specifically, what about small/microcap value, REITS, emerging mkts./international small cap, etc.? My feeling is that these asset classes are in general n...
